^_^ IIUM Gamelan : Marry You & Titanium~
assalamualaikum wbt and greetings.
alhamdulillah, after almost a week been practicing for Culture Night, Taaruf Week 2, 2012/2013, IIUM Gamelan Club members finally could stretch out our foots and hands and arms as we successfully done with the show. wieeee~~
and of course, we managed to boost out all our best to make the show memorable for those new intake students and hopefully, we are able to allure them to join our club haha. even there were some mistakes, in terms of the situation where the player forgot their notes and the jidor(some sort of Malay traditional drum) seems off beat, I still think that it was an awesome performance by us. and most important, as an experience for us to learn and take it as an example for us to be better in our another show in future, in shaa Allah.
on that night, we performed two songs, Marry You by Bruno Mars and Titanium by David Guetta ft Sia, which related to the theme for this year Cultural Night's theme which is 'A Traditional Malay Wedding'. so, here are peek-sneak videos from us, taken during the rehearsal, practicing these songs. just hit the play button and enjoy the vids wieeee~~
